How many scans do I get for free?+
The free plan includes 5 scans per month. Unlimited scans are coming with Pro.
Does AffiliScan work on all Amazon marketplaces?+
Yes — AffiliScan works on every Amazon marketplace worldwide, including amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, amazon.fr, amazon.it, amazon.es, amazon.ca, amazon.com.au, amazon.co.jp, amazon.in, and amazon.com.br. It also handles amzn.to and amzn.com short links from all regions.
What's the difference between "Broken" and "Unavailable"?+
Broken links are dead — the product page doesn't exist or redirects to Amazon's homepage. Unavailable links are live pages but the product can't currently be purchased.
What does the "Find replacement" button do?+
When a link is broken or its product is unavailable, Find replacement searches Amazon for the same product so you can quickly swap in a working link.
What is bulk scanning?+
Instead of checking one video at a time, bulk scanning checks an entire YouTube channel or playlist in one go — up to 200 videos — and shows every broken or unavailable affiliate link across all of them. It's part of Pro, coming soon.
Can AffiliScan re-check my links automatically?+
With Pro (coming soon) you can schedule automatic re-scans and get an email alert whenever a link becomes broken or unavailable — so you don't have to check manually.
Will scanning many links get my account flagged by Amazon?+
No — AffiliScan fetches pages from your browser like a normal user visit. Amazon has no way to distinguish this from regular browsing.
Will AffiliScan affect my Amazon Associates account?+
No. AffiliScan only checks whether your links work — it never signs in to or changes anything in your Amazon account.
Can I use it while doing other things in Chrome?+
Yes — scans run entirely in the background service worker. You can close the popup, switch tabs, or open new windows and the scan keeps running.
Is my data stored anywhere?+
Scanning requires a free account, and your scan results are saved to your dashboard so you can access them across devices. We don't sell your data — see our Privacy Policy for the details.
